Conference Speakers Guidelines
Description
Speakers develop and present quality, up-to-date continuing education lectures for the intended
audience.
All presentations must adhere to the ARRT definition of a continuing education activity:
A learning activity that is planned, organized and administered to enhance the professional knowledge
and
skills underlying the professional performance that the R.T. or R.R.A. uses to provide services to
patients, the public or the medical profession. To qualify as a CE activity, it must provide
sufficient
depth and scope of a subject area.
Time Commitment
Speakers typically spend 60 hours to develop their lecture and attend the conference.
Skills
Speakers must have up-to-date professional knowledge and an aptitude for presenting complex technical
information in a concise, understandable manner. Speakers also must have a polished, professional
appearance and the confidence to impart information in an engaging way.
